Trapiche Iscay - Syrah Viognier

Jammy blackberry and cassis aromas seem reduced and reticent. While this is full on the palate, the structure of this Syrah-heavy blend is more round and amorphous than strong. Minty, herbal plum flavors finish with chocolaty oak and pulpy weight.  Pair this wine with salt-crusted pork with gnocchi in sage butter, lamb with apricot and walnut stuffing or a slow-cooked beef casserole.
